Launch error

Hello,

After a successfully installation of the plugin, I have the following error when I try to launch it :

Loading error of the file ifc_skp_load.rb
Entity is already defined

Trying to download IFC2SKP from your website but get the following message:

'Fatal error: Call to undefined function bindtextdomain() in /home/ohyeahca/public_html/downloadreq.php on line 20'

Can you help?

export functionality

I'm just wondering if there any plans to add export functionality to IFC2SKP and if so is there an approximate timeline.

IFC2SKP version 0.84 has been released.

Although still in beta, IFC2SKP version 0.84 has been released.
What's new? For one the the user interface has added functionality. Secondly, the new version supports more IFC entity types. These are - IfcBuilingElementProxy, IfcCurtainWall, IfcFurnishingElement, IfcPlate, and IfcMember. And probably most importantly, this release supports IfcBooleanClippingResult. This includes specifically IfcBooleanClippingResult entities whose second operand is either an IfcHalfSpaceSolid or IfcPolygonalBoundedHalfSpace. Sorry for the late response.

IFC2SKP version 0.8.3 doesn't support IfcMember, IfcPlate.
We will put them into the wish list. These are building element entities.

IfcArbitraryClosedProfileDef is supported in the current version, but many of the IfcCurve is not supported yet. IfcBezierCurve, IfcRationalBezierCurve, IfcEllipse, IfcOffsetCurve2D, IfcOffsetCurve3D are not supported.

0.8.3 also supports IfcCircleProfileDef, IfcRactangleProfileDef, IfcArbitraryProfileDefWithVoids. Other IfcProfileDef like IShape, LShape, UShape aren't supported yet.

We are now working on integrating Getometry Engine that can support for example IfcBooleanClippingResult.

Is it possible to export a model from sketch up to IFC file format, in order to open it in revit?
